Pat
Pat is my very soft and cuddly travel companion. A stuffed unicorn head that was, at one time, part of a Halloween costume. He became a beloved mascot that me and my friend Bety had shared custody of. I’d take him places and photograph him having fun. I don’t know why I took him on the trip, but he turns out to be the best item I chose to take on the trip. When I wasn’t sure where to go for dinner, I asked Pat. When my iPod broke and the stereo couldn’t pick up any radio stations, I sang to him. When I was lonely, and starving for company, I talked to him. When I missed my cats, I snuggled with him. He was a pillow, an arm rest, a foot rest and a great conversation starter with curious strangers. Most of all he was perfect for spooning.
XOXO Pat!
