Pat: Pat is a pink, stuffed unicorn head I once used in a Halloween costume. He is beloved by all who meet him. A favorite treat is to stick your fingers up his nostrils – it’s very silk inside and you can’t resist giggling when you do it. I share custody of Pat with my dear friend Bety and I plan to take him on many more adventures.
Pit Toilet: Just what it sounds like. No water, just a pit under your ass.
Slept: in the summaries at the top of each days entry, this indicates were I slept that night. Usually in my car, my tent or on a friend’s sofa.

Miles driven: Equals the total miles driven in my vehicle for that day only
